Why do i fall asleep early at night, wake up after a maximum of two hours and then i don't get to sleep again till day break. then feel drowsy all day?

Insomnia: Most common causes are underlying medical problems such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, gerd and obstructive sleep apnea. Also can be secondary to poor sleep environment, medications, or other substances like coffee, energy drinks, cold medication or street drugs. A good history and physical with asleep questionnaire by your physician very important to assess the cause.
