There are many causes of rectal bleeding that is associated with pain- including- anal fissures, hemorrhoidal bleeding etc- however any rectal bleeding has to be evaluated further to rule out serious problem i.E colorectal cancer. If you never have a colonoscopy- you will need to have a colonoscopy now. See your doctor asap. If bleeding is a lot- go to er now.
