A member asked:

My daughter has ringworm on her back and her doctor can't get her in for 2 weeks can i take her to the er to get meds for it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a good idea: There are several antifungal agents available over the counter at any local drug department. They are located in the skin care section. The pharmacist or a tech can assist you if you find too many to pick from.Twice a day use for a week or two will treat most, unless your assumption is wrong and it is something else.Er's are for emergencies and full of people with contagious illness.Beware.
