Ringworm: Ringworm is a fungal infection. It has nothing whatsoever to do with worms. If that indeed was the correct diagnosis it usually is quite curable by the application of a cream on the skin. Now as to how she got it. She picked it up somewhere. If she goes back into the same environmenment as before she picked up the infection again. You have to investigate where she acquired it.
