What would happen if a cyst on the ovaries erupted and left untreated?

Cysts: Actually the act of ovulation is a rupture of an egg cyst (follicle) and is usually associated with some mild discomfort for 1-3 days that resolves. Last cysts can cause bleeding, but most rupture then resolve.
