Carrageenans: There's some evidence that they can cause some intestinal inflammation but nothing to suggest permanent. If you con't to have symptoms, get a checkup as there may be some other stuff (like an infection) causing the problem. Also, make sure that all dairy productions are stopped to ensure you're not having a mild lactose intolerance based on your history.
