Diet: Most causes of constipation are diet related. Getting enough fiber to make stools move through easily is not too difficult, but must be attended. Raw crunchy vegetables, whole grains, many fruits (peaches, plums, pears, pineapple, apricots, strawberries, etc) are helpful. Too much milk or dairy in relation to the remainder of the diet will constipate.
