What is "stump" neuroma? i've been having pain in the same area i had a neuroma removed and this term keeps coming up?

Not you.: This refers to patients who have had an amputation, such as of a leg. The cut off tissue end includes nerve endings, which can cause a lot of pain with pressure (like when walking with a prosthesis).
