Miscarriage risk: Since you are pregnant the bleeding could indicate a miscarriage but it cannot be a period (which occurs by definition when you are not pregnant). However, a little bit of bleeding in early pregnancy is pretty common and does not necessarily mean a miscarriage. This could represent the loss of one embryo but you will need to wait and see.

Wait and see: Please follow your instructions from your in vitro fertilization doctor. I suspect they want you to have a beta HCG hormone drawn at some point. If you are pregnant you should not have it at all. Implantation bleeding is not that common. Trying to guess what the outcome will be is impossible for you or anyone else. Be patient. You've worked hard to get here.
