No: An adrenal mass may be functioning or not functioning. They can do blood and urine tests to see if it is functional. If not, and if it is small then leaving it alone is fine. If larger than 3cm should probably get a follow up scan in a year to see if it is growing; of not, leave alone.

Leave alone: Your endocrinologist has determined that the lesion, a cyst, is not hormonally active. A cyst does not require intervention.
