Lid repair: Repair of lid defect usually as a result of an excisional biopsy and thus the lid defect. Reasons are numerous as would be the result of the pathology. Eyelid revision is medical term for a sagging or droopy eyelid and can be uncomfortable for weeks. Discuss these concerns with the surgeon.

Not usually : Tenderness usually resolves within a few weeks but depending on what procedure was performed, it may take longer. Swelling in the lids takes long to resolve and can be present for months after eyelid surgery. If this worsens or dies not resolve, see your eyelid surgeon. In the meantime, try cool compresses.
