Keep gargling with: warm saline (1 tsp salt in glass of warm water and stir.) It can take time to heal. You can check with your PCP to find out what to do. If you have post nasal drip, it can irritate it more. You can use OTC Tylenol or Motrin to alleviate the pain. If it's feeling swollen with fever or headache, see your doctor in person for further management.
