See physician: See physician.High TSH usually means hypothyroidism.Thyroid gland not producing enough thyroid hormone.Usually need to take thyroid hormone to prevent fatigue increased sensitivity to cold constipation, dry skin unexplained weight gain, puffy face, hoarseness muscle weakness, elevated blood cholesterol level, muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness pain, stiffness or swelling in joints.Normal TSH .5-5.
