Possible: Possible nerve damage at or near fx site can cause numbness or elevation too much can drain the blood out and if elevating leaning on a nerve could cause it too. Don't elevate for a little and see what happens. Another if you are immobilized in a bandage it could be to tight on a nerve cutting feeling and blood. I would have it looked at by your doc.

It is possible: But you need to call your doc and let them know. This is not a good thing. You could be developing a compartment syndrome or the like. Make sure the boot is not tight. Elevate the foot to keep swelling down, apply ice, but let your doc know your symptoms.

Sleeping Foot: Do you have any wrapping on the foot? If there is anything causing pressure to a part of if there is swelling this can cause pressure on the nerves and the 'asleep' sensation can be possible. Does it change with position changes of the foot? If this last for long period of time, you should see the foot and ankle specialist as soon as possible.

Foot asleep: All the other answers are true. Simple things like not elevating the foot and evaluating the 'asleep' part helps a lot. Ultimately seeing your treating physician is the best thing to do .
