You may've dystonia: You may have some form of sleep disorder which involves the cramping or spasming of voluntary muscles while preparing for sleep or at rest. You'll need a full evaluation if this is not an isolated incident. I would suggest your primary doc to get things rolling. They'll get some blood work and then, likely consider sending you for either a sleep study or with a neurologist. You could keep a log.
