No, you are not dyin: Yes, you are polycythemia- or elevation of hemoglobin. However, there are many different things can cause polycythemia including conditions in lung ( chornic lung disease like emphysema etc) , sleep apnea ( you have this problem); condition with kidney, liver , drugs, familial, high altidtude etc vs primary bone marrow problem-i.E p.Vera. Your sleep apnea could be the problem. D/w md in detail.
