Could taking advil (ibuprofen) 2 hours before a blood test to recheck my liver enyzmes cause them to be elevated i had a really bad headache before getting blood.

I would ask the : Lab if it will be problematic. Just an aside: according to the cdc Ibuprofen can cause inflammation of the liver. With excess use it can cause increase in alanine aminotransferase & hepatitis.

Repeat the test: Recommend to repeat the test. Perhaps the drug had an effect, and perhaps the lab test was incorrect. Always suspect lab error and recheck before worry or anything more expensive. www.blatmanhealthandwellness.com.
