It is used for mood: Disorders but i find it is sometimes a bit weak as a solo agent for bipolar spectrum disorders.

Neurontin (gabapentin): Depends on the dose and what other mood stabilizers have been tried. Might be bit more effective as u take with klonopin (clonazepam). Review with your doc.
