MR is very sensitive: Mri is very sensitive in detecting blood products. It is even capable of staging the age of the bleed as the imaging characteristics of blood on MRI are variable and change with the age of the blood. So as long as your hematoma is evolving in expected fashion (based on mri) and have not changed in size it is ok. Hemosiderin (blood break down product) can be detected on MRI years after the bleed.

Symptoms: It's symptoms not imaging findings that are important. If you headaches, nausea, vomiting and memory loss have resolved i would not perform any more neuroimaging studies.
