Ganglion cyst: May just be anatomical variant or an area of weakness in the bone or ligament insertion site. See your orthopedic surgeon or foot surgeon.

Result of chronic st: A cyst can occur as a result of a chronic or healed stress fracture/reaction of the tarsal (midfoot bones). Degenrative cysts of the cuneiform bone(s) can occur as well and mimic an itraosseous cyst.
