What does uterine irritability mean? i'm 36 weeks pregnant and my nurse said they picked that up on my stress test today.

Contractions: Your uterus is a muscle and as it gets bigger, it wants to contract. Uterine irritability is just really small contractions. It doesnt mean you are in labor unless your cervix is changing.
