Midline: Generally it's right in the middle of your abdomen, slowly getting higher and higher. When you are pregnant and 12 weeks out from your last period, the top of your uterus is just beginning to peek over your pubic bone. Until that time, you cannot reliably feel it from the outside. When you are 20 weeks, or half way, the top of your uterus is generally right at the level of your belly button.
