I got a small scald burn 13 days ago. it's erythematous painful, so i apply silver sulphadiazene. now the top skin layer is rough, brown, a little wrinkled, and doesn't peel. what's happening?

Scald: As long as its covered leave it alone - do not try to pull the wrinkled skin off. Continue to apply the cream as it acts as a bactericidal and a good moisture barrier.

Okay.: A small scald burn should heal by itself within a few more days. The wrinkled skin indicates that the area is about to peel, which is also normal. If it persists or worsens, see your doctor, as it might be getting infected.
