Needs to be seen: The internet is wonderful for many things. However, these types of situations require a one on one clinical exam, x-rays and an evaluation by a dentist. Merely giving you a list of possibilities will not serve you in any way. Set up an appointment with your own dentist and feel better soon.

See a specialist: The duration and/or severity of your symptoms should tell you that a specialist should be seen. Trying home remedies may make things worse.

Many reasons: What you explained can be because of a small matter such as bruxism or pulpitis to a more serious, urgent problem like infection, jaw fracture, etc. So it is very important you see your dentist or ENT asap.
