Uncomfortable?: If your discomfort is due to your symptoms and or with the answer from your doctor, i will suggest you seek a second opinion preferably from an endocrinologist.

Hyperthyroidism: I would advise a second opinion from an endocrinologist as this condition can suddenly flare up and cause great trouble.
