Mucinex (guaifenesin): Yes you can take it before bed, unless it is Mucinex (guaifenesin) d. It is ok with COPD also.

Yes it's fine: You can take Mucinex (guaifenesin) without having problems going to sleep.It will soothe your cough so it will actually help you sleep better. It is okay to take with COPD especially if you have an increased cough with productive phlegm. There are variations of this medicine that contain decongestants, but still will not interfere with sleep but you should avoid if you have high blood pressure. Feel better!
