Why am i getting hives on scars?

Are they hives or...: Are the scars becoming hypertrophic...Depends on the age of the scars and their location. Scar hypertrophy is relatively common in the first few months after injury but becomes less common with scar maturation. The photo shows a typical hypertrophic scar.
