Is blurry vision normal after general anesthesia?

Thanks for asking!: Blurry vision can occur immediately after general anesthesia, often relating to a lubricant applied in the eyes. Blurry vision can also occur also from some of the medications used during the general anesthesia.

Yes: Some medicine we give for general anesthesia may cause blurry or double vision. There are other causes of blurry vision after anesthesia including corneal abrasion, so bring it up to your doctors to get an evaluation if it's a problem.
