Time : If your question about general anesthesia or sedation, patient should be awake within a few minutes after case is done. There is still residual gases or medications in the blood and patient can feel fully awake, but patient should not make legal decisions in next 12-24 hours. If the patient is very sick or debilitated or old residual effects could last longer.

Indeterminate: Anesthesia can wear off in anywhere from ten minutes to hours. It depends on the medication used. How your individual processing of the medication works and lastly whether it was a nerve block or general anesthesia.

3 days.: Patient's wake up very quickly after anesthesia. Modern anesthetics are essentially removed from the body completely within 72 hours. The most common cause of symptoms after this period are the postoperative narcotics that a patient takes to control pain. I hope that this answers your question.
