Interested to know if people normally wake up violently after having anesthesia?

Sometimes...: Violent thrashing behavior is sometimes seen but it is not the usual. There are certain populations that it seems more common...teenagers, mentally ill, prisoners. But relax, the anesthesiologist and operating personnel are quite comfortable handling this situation and the patient almost never remembers any of it!
