Corneal : Corneal exposure during surgery is not uncommon but typically resolves in a couple of days. If his surgery was three weks ago, he needs to be evaluated by on ophthalmologist. Go to www.Aao.Org and click on the "find an eye md" tab at the top right to find an ophthalmologist near you.

Probably : Probably not the anesthesia but some of the medicine used after surgery can cause dry eye which may be causing the blurriness. If it persists, visit an ophthalmologist to see if treatment is needed.

He : He need to be seen by an ophthalmologist for a full dilated fundus exam as soon as possible. In a long surgery, the cornea can dry and blur the vision (most common). This will resolve over time however, if the retina is effected he may need an immediate intervention.
