Meniscus tear : If you are referring to your knee mri, then this means that the meniscus is torn adjacent to the articular cartilage. If it is of significant size, say a centimeter or more, and continues to cause pain with twisting, squatting, walking, stair climbing, or sleeping, then arthroscopic surgery is indicated.
