Advisable: To have it examined to make sure its a bone bruise. Need x-rays and would see your local podiatrist.

Ask doctor: If you have a bone contusion I am assuming a physician has given you this diagnosis. It is best to check with the doctor treating you as it is difficult to give advice without more information.

Maybe not: Bone contusions need rest. Certainly impact and some activities will aggravate this. Walking may be ok, but may not. If it is painful, don't do it right now.
