Treat: Individuals who develop allergies have a genetic tendency to develop new allergies. If you move, you would likely develop new allergies. New generation medications, appropriate avoidance of exposures, and immunotherapy (allergy shots) can be very effective in controlling allergies.

See an allergist: If one has allergy symptoms that are severe and one's current medications are not helpful, see a board certified allergist for evaluation to define allergy triggers and develop a treatment plan.
