What is the best combination of meds to treat nose and eye allergies (to pollen, etc...)?

Oral/eyedrops: With both nose and eye symptoms, i recommend trying oral meds first, such as Claritin or zyrtec. If the eye symptoms outweigh the nasal symptoms, or the eye symptoms are not improved with pills, i recommend topical antihistamine eyedrops such as pataday, bepreve, or lastacaft (alcaftadine). You can also use cool compresses for relief.

OTC allergy meds: For multiple allergy symptoms, many physicians will start with over the counter allergy meds like claritin, zyrtec or generics. If that alone isn't working there are both prescription and non prescription allergy eye drops and many will also use prescription inhaled nasal cortocosteroid sprays.
