Your current symptoms seem more characteristic of nonallergic or vasomotor rhinitis than allergic rhinitis. This is usually not accompanied by watery eyes or sneezing such as occurs with allergic rhinitis. Vasomotor rhinitis doesn't respond to oral antihistamines as a rule. I've seen some good results with the use if astelin nasal spray which is a topical antihistamine. You could consult an ENT
