No surprise: Hysterectomy is not a weight loss procedure so no one should expect weight loss this rapidly after a procedure.

Caloric balance: Our weight is the difference between the calories we eat and the the ones we burn up exercising. Hysterectomy does not influence weight directly. Some patients gain weight after due to reduce activity. Some lose because they feel better and are more active.
