Vaginal cuff bleed: The bleeding may be coming from the area where the vagina was sewed back together after the removal of the cervix called the vaginal cuff. If the cervix was NOT removed @ hysterectomy, then a GYN MD needs to see the area immediately. The vaginal cuff can also be evaluated by a GYN MD, but not as urgently. Cervical polyps or cancerous lesions can bleed when left after surgery.
