Test results: It's easy to to read too much into test results. The truth is they are only helpful in letting us know that yes, we need to do something or change something or no, let us stay the course. I wouldn't be concerned and would discuss with my doctor.

Depends: Broken heart syndrome (aka apical ballooning syndrome, or catecholamine induced cardiomyopathy) does have troponin detectible in the blood. The bigger concern in this syndrome would be what your ejection fraction is or if you have been having heart rhythm problems.
