A member asked:

Can it be considered insomnia if you have trouble sleeping on a trip?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: Many people have trouble sleeping when traveling or when they are away from home...What i call travel insomnia. If one travels more than two time zones, however, there is more chance that difficulty falling asleep is due to jet lag, especially when traveling from west to east.
