Fever: Over the counter tylenol (acetaminophen) is the best if you do not have any liver disease. Should take it three to 4 times a day 650 mg. If fever from bacterial infections you might need medical care and might need antibiotics.

Many: From Aspirin ( not for children!) to tylenol (acetaminophen) to advil/motirin, to aleeve etc. Etc. They all can lower the temperature. Before treating the symptom it is advised and highly advise to see the doctor and find out why the temperature!
