Crown: Have the dentist check the bite, and the seal of the crown (margins).

Check ur bite again: If the root canal treatment , and followed up crown restorations were all done judiciously, then you might want to have your dentist recheck your bite /occlusion, and follow up on that tooth closely for non-functional contacts, as u might also be grinding, or clinching on that tooth, and othets too.

Root canal success?: There is a misconception by patients that once a root canalis performed on a tooth, that all the pain will be immediately gone. In reality, root canal therapy, especially with a molar tooth, is very complex. Because of this pain can persist (usually a mild pain but much improved compared to before). This is inependent of the crown or bite. It has to do with tooth anatomy and skill of treatment.
