Depends: Some peels are superficial and they can remove some fine wrinkles --- the deeper peels can remove more wrinkles and they may also tighten the skin --- all results lost for varying amounts of time, and nothing is permanent.

chemical peel: Chemical peels come in a wide variety of types and potencies. On the very deep end of the spectrum there are croton oil/phenol peels and on the other end of the spectrum are a whole host of non-physician, cosmetic treatments. Deeper peels tend to have far greater results but require up to two weeks of downtime. The results can last for years. Ask for before and after pictures from your clinic.
