Treat cause: CRP is a non-specific protein produced by the liver in inflammatory states. If you have injuries, infection or inflammation, CRP will rise. The goal is not to treat CRP levels, but to treat the underlying conditions that cause CRP to rise. Chronically elevated CRP may indicate chronic inflammatory states - which makes atherosclerosis (hardening of arteries) more likely.

Don't worry or: Focus on the CRP value which likely reflects your multiple injuries or other inflammatory process in your body. Be sure that your heart circulation/ coronaries are good. Get reassurance from your dr. Take care!
