Embrace it: As annoying as it can be, make a focused, conscious effort to seek out, identify and claim the 'drama' in your life. After a while it will either blend into your psyche's view of a 'normal day' (and thus seem less), or you will become less of a magnet for your social group to involve in their cumulative 'dramatic moments' (which will be less). It is skills based and very effective.
