Hysterosalpingogram,: But, we only do this sort of test after a patient has had unprotected sex ttc for ~ 1 year. At age 17 , this is probably not the case? Suggest safe sax or abstinence for best protection.

I just did an HSG, fallopian tubes were blocked and Dr unblocked them during the HSG. Can Fallopian tubes get blocked again after successful HSG? And how soon can they get blocked again? What would cause the blockage if I dont have PID?

Can BV cause inflamed fallopian tubes? I suspect I have PID from past IUD,but obgyn insisting I dont because uterus looks normal and I have no severe pain. I have BV. I have yellow discharge. Doctor said its not severely inflamed. STD test clear?
Took two sets of Flagyl and one round of doxycycline. First Culture showed nothing and second showed BV. I had fallopian tube swelling but it is lessened according to us. Doc wants third round of flagyl? Is this normal. Afraid its pid from iud?
