A member asked:

I had my fallopian tubes removed a year ago due to pid i am now getting severe period pain and they are irregular is this normal a year after?

Sometimes: you might have post tubal menorrhagia, which is heavier more painful periods after removing or blocking the tubes. This occurs because about 25% of women expel period blood back thru the tubes as well as out the vagina. However, there may be other issues like adenomyosis, endometriosis and endometritis going on. I would schedule a gyn visit
