On 500 mg of flagyl 2x a day and 100mg of doxycycline 2x a day. i have bv but inflamed fallopian tubes. i suspect pid because of yellow discharge. this happened after removal of embedded iud. i have a temp of 99.1. should i be concerned?

Not all acquired pelvic infections are sensitive to flagyl and doxycycline, so see your GYN physician for an exam, and culture/sensitivity of your discharge to ensure proper antibiotic coverage is provided.

Menstrual blood has a sweet smell this month. I am on 500mg of flagyl 2x a day and 100mg of doxycycline 2x a day for 7 days for BV and what I suspect is PID. I started my cycle today and it came 4 days early. Should I be concerned about the smell?
Ive asked this previously but had another question. Would PID show up during a speculum exam? Ive had pain on my uterus since embedded iud was removed in March. Also have yellow sour smelling discharge. Flagyl and amox didnt work. Sono next week?
