Hemangioma: The most likely red spot would be a hemangioma. They are present on most newborns at birth or soon after. They almost always resolve completely without treatment. They usually get more visible and prominent before they get better and go away.

HEMANGIOMA: Capillary hemangiomas are due to defect in small blood vessels, seen at birth or noticed at around 2 weeks of age. There are different types depending on severity. Most strawberry hemangiomas resolve by 3-4 years. Let her pediatrician have a look and explains to you.
