How do you know if it is allergies I have , or asthma? Throat feels tight but no wheezing. Started last week have some clear phlem.

Allergies: If you can take an allergy pill over the counter like Allegra and the symptoms are relieved then most likely its allergies. If they do not then you may need to see your physician to evaluate further if its truly asthma or allegies causing post nasal drip giving you some clear phlegm when u cough.
